This was our first trip to Manchester and only had two nights to learn as much as possible. After doing a lot of research I came across this waking tour. I am so happy I did. Joe was absolutely brilliant. He loves his home town. He is a Musician and has the most endearing and brilliant stories and memories that he shares with you. If you want to know anything about the Manchester music scene then this is the tour for you. Joe is a cool guy and made us feel cool hanging out with him.
The day we spent with Joe in Manchester was way beyond our expectation! We enjoyed every minute. Joe is so informative, knowledgeable, and funny. If you are passionate about music like we are, you will find his stories absolutely amazing. At the end of the day, we really felt we've made a friend, and we don't want to leave! He really made our time in Manchester meaningful. Couldn't recommend highly enough! Thank you Joe!
"Booked at short notice but was still contacted by Joe asking for any specifics we wished to see. Met at the specified time and location and Joe took the group to many locations giving history and background for each one. Joe was lovely company and very knowledgeable and his obvious passion for Manchester was evident throughout the walk. I thought I knew Manchester well but saw places that were new to me and learnt a lot on the way! This was a lovely way to spend a few hours despite the rain and for the price excellent value for money too. Kudos to Joe for the time and company."
